LWS Carriage Guidelines
The cost of carriage has repeatedly risen during 2025/26 and the shipping of bulky irrigation product has become much more expensive. This includes significant extra charges for delivering to residential address, handling bulky items and accommodating lengths of pipe.
Whilst LWS have absorbed these increases, this is no longer sustainable and we need to make some small adjustments but we have also introduced a new incentive for our account holders.
Standard sized boxed orders, over £700 Net value, will be shipped FREE (1-2 day service).
Below is an outline of our carriage guidelines, valid from 2nd November 2026.
Carriage Rate Guide:
- Expres Pak (up to 1kg) - £8.00
- Express Pak (upto 5kg) - £9.00
- Boxed Orders (up to 10kg) - £11.00
- Boxed Orders (up to 20kg) - £15.00
- Mixed Order incl. pipe (up to 20kg) - £18.00
- Additional Weigth Charge (orders exceeding 20kg) - £0.40 / kg
NB. some larger items are subject to volumetric calculations rather than just weight
- Standard Pallet deliveries from £75.00, subject to destination and oversized items
- FREE delivery on orders over £700.00 net value (small / medium boxed goods only)
NB. free carriage does not apply to special offers and projects, carriage on these will be on a case by case basis
Important Notes:
- Express Paks and boxed items are typically delivered next day (carrier permitting) via DPD or DX.
- Surcharges may apply to orders shipped via DX to residential addresses; applies to non boxable mixed orders.
- Larger items (valve boxes / pipe) may be sent via pallet carrier or our own transport; these are suject to a 1-5 day service.
- Timed or Next Day Pallet deliveries are available at extra cost.
- Back-orders, special orders, non-stock and direct deliveries maybe subject to additional carriage costs.
- Making additions to existing orders may result in delay or additional carriage costs.
- Additional costs apply to straight lengths (over 3m), large diameter coils (50mm or larger) and valve boxes.
- LWS has no minimum order value, but this is subject to revision for repeated small orders.
- All prices are subject to VAT and we reserve the right to amend this guide at any time.
- The LWS team will always endeavour to identify the most cost effective carriage option for your order; if you have specific requirements please discuss with the team to minimise any delay to your order.
