Standard Irrigation Cable

Standard quality multi-core cable is ideal for use on residential irrigation systems. Used to connect the irrigation controller to the solenoid valves; usually located within a valve box.

The individual solid cores are 0.8mm² each and colour coded for easy identification. The have a PVC outer sheath for protection and can be buried within the same trenches as pipe work. It is available in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 24 core versions. All these are available in 100m or 500m drums.

Rain Bird Irrigation Cable

Rain Bird multi-conductor irrigation cable has been manufactured to Rain Bird specification for use on smaller multi-core irrigation systems. Ideal for used on residential irrigation systems.

Rain Bird multi-conductor irrigation cable is made up for individual multi-core cables protected with a polyethylene jacket. It is highly resistant to mechanical stress, chemicals and moisture. Within the polyethylene jacket is a nylon rip cord to aid in stripping to access the individual cores. Each individual cable has a cross sectional area of 0.8mm².

There is a maximum recommended distance between controller and solenoid valve of 350m. Supplied in a 75m drum; with the option of 3, 5, 7, 9 and 13 cores.
