Which garden irrigation WiFi controller option ticks all the boxes?

News image

There is no lack of choice when it comes to choosing a WiFi enabled irrigation controller but Rain Bird have made your selection process a whole lot easier with the release of the WiFi LNK Module. This latest addition to the Rain Bird controller line is ideal for a variety of sites including residential, small commercial and small sports clubs and the module is simply plugged into the range of Rain Bird landscape controllers, including ESP-ME, ESP-TM2 and ESP-RZX.

The LNK WiFi operates like a remote control whilst on site and provides complete access to the controller whilst offsite via your smartphone or tablet in conjunction with the FREE Rain Bird App from the Apple or Google Play stores.  The App provides multi-site access for professional contractors with a host of other features but also retains simple, intuitive control for all users.

This unique approach allows you to simply add WiFi capability to your normal stock of Rain Bird controllers as needed and therefore helps to limit your inventory of specialist controllers and also allows the fast, easy and low cost update of controllers in the future. The Rain Bird App is FREE with No Subscriptions and you are up and running in four easy steps:

1. Download the App onto your device
2. Plug the LNK module into the controller and push the button to activate hotspot mode.
3. Connect to the LNK via your device WiFi connection menu.
4. Open the App and follow the set up wizard.

You can see a video of how the LNK WiFi works at http://wifi-pro.rainbird.com/. For more information on LNK, or you have a project that requires a larger or decoder based WiFi controller, please call the LWS team to discuss.
