Plasson offer a range of backing rings to suit their stub flange fittings.

Galvanised steel backing rings are now only available in smaller sizes.

The Ductile Iron Epoxy Coated backing rings are black in colour and provide a robust and reliable jointing technique for the majority of situations

The Polypropylene (PP) Coated Steel backing rings are black in colour and are built for durability and corrosion resistance, and provide enhanced protection against chemical and environmental in demanding situations.

All flanges are PN16 EN1092 rated and comply with ISO/DIN 2501 drilling standards.

Flanges up to and inclding DN150 are suitable for PN10 or PN16 flange connections.
Flanges from DN200 upwards are for PN16 connections only
